What are wars fueled by? Thirst for power or conquest? Vengeance? Fear of the other? Discrimination? Understandable, but wrong.

Because in the end we all know what a war really is: pure death and destruction, a deaf act against progress, art and human dignity.

Destroying cities, cutting off innocent lives… just because a madman have to prove he has a bigger stick than the neighbors.
Do you want an enemy in you life? I understand, it’s natural. But why not try to be a good general as the Sun Tzu teaches:

To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill

The Art of War, Sun Tzu 400–320 BC

On the other hand, the spread of fear and terror has never worked very well against enemies, history teaches.

Maybe it’s an utopian desire, but I would like to see wars only in films or videogames, only read about them in books and not in newspapers.
Maybe it’s an utopian desire, but I would like to see good generals out there.
